Dr. Hester is a licensed neuropsychologist who specializes in dementia. She completed her doctoral degree at the University of Texas at Austin, APA Accredited Clinical Psychology Internship at the University of Oklahoma Health Consortium, and Postdoctoral Residency in Clinical Neuropsychology at UTSW Medical Center in Dallas. Prior to NTX Neuropsychology, she was appointed as Assistant Professor at UTSW and was employed for several years as a clinical neuropsychologist at the Baylor Memory Center. She also has experience with outreach, advocacy, consultation, lecturing, and teaching at the university level. She currently serves on the board of the Dallas/Northeast Texas Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association and is a member of several professional organizations. Dr. Hester enjoys spending time with her family and dogs and is a fan of live music, animals, art, movies, cooking, exercise, and travel.
